Do you want to join our team in order to help London’s most vulnerable community? For individual volunteering opportunities, please complete the following form and read our Volunteer Information.

For corporate volunteering and teambuilding opportunities, please contact Alex on alex@soupkitchenlondon.org or read about our Street Outreach or our Sleep Out at the Soup Kitchen.

None of what we do is possible without our wonderful volunteers, so a very sincere thank you from all of us!

    About You

Are you aged 18 or over?*

    Emergency Contact

Do you have any special needs that you want to share with us so that we can better serve you, for example: wheelchair access?*

We work daily with a vulnerable population. Do you have any unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands or warnings as defined under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act of 1974? Having a criminal record does not in all circumstances prevent someone from being recruited as a volunteer.*

Our volunteer hours are from 09:00 until 13:00 Monday – Saturday and 17:00 – 19:30 on Monday, Tuesday and Friday evenings. Are you able to volunteer during these hours? Although we love having regular volunteers, there is no minimum number of shifts you will be required to sign up for.*

Volunteering at the Soup Kitchen requires that you submit a current

DBS check to our Volunteer Coordinator. Once you have filled out our volunteer form, please submit your DBS to [email protected]. Once we have received all of your information, you'll gain access to our online rota and you can sign yourself up to volunteer on days that fit your schedule.

Please add a referee that has known you for more than 2 years and is not a family member.

I understand that volunteering with the Whitfield Charity SK Corporation (the Soup Kitchen) may be subject to references and the availability of suitable roles, and that the Soup Kitchen has a comprehensive set of values and policies that reflect our philosophy.*
